Unlocking The Power Of Plant Medicine For Pets

Pet Pharmaceuticals develops phytopharmaceutical medicines for companion animals – bridging the gap between traditional veterinary medicine and the growing demand for natural remedies.

Plant medicine is revolutionising healthcare. Not just for humans, but for animals too. Pet wellness continues to be a booming global industry. With the sector set to expand over the next few years, pet owners, veterinarians, pharma companies, and investors are taking note.

Advancing Access To Plant-Based Formulations For Pets

Pets are not just fluffy companions – they’re family members. We want them to live healthy, active lives – for as long as possible. However, like their owners, animals too can develop chronic conditions like inflammatory pain, anxiety, dermatological conditions, osteoarthritis, and cancers like lymphoma; as well as neurological and behavioural disorders.

While exercise, diet, and veterinarian care are essential, many available pharmaceutical options – like NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) and even FDA-approved medications – can cause long-term side effects in pets: including organ damage and reduced quality of life.

Plant medicines, however, are natural alternatives to conventional pharmaceuticals; but regulatory gaps limit access to scientifically backed, plant-based options – despite growing demand.

We’re looking to change that: for pet owners here in the UK, Europe, and globally.

Increasing The Number Of Phytopharmaceutical Options

We’re committed to advancing veterinary care while addressing the demand for innovative, natural solutions.

Our aim is to get each of our formulations in the hands of pharma companies and veterinarians, which will position us as market leaders in pushing for plant-based solutions to be accepted as prescribed medicines.
